Meaning Behind the Name

The name was chosen as a symbol of how the lotus flower rises above the muck then breaks through the surface and emerges as a beautiful flower while facing what seems to be impossible odds. Just like the lotus flower I believe we all have the potential to rise above the adversity we experience even when we feel hopeless and our future seems dismal. We too can emerge with grace and a strong sense of wellbeing.
